Okay! This is new for me, but it seems that people like to know about the process I use when creating. I hesitate to call what I do "art"; it's just my version of fun! Recently I began a quilt for my new great nephew, Eli. I started this project back in August with a box full of orphan blocks from previous projects. I then set myself to the task of creating a lively and colorful quilt for the newest member of our family.
These are the parts as they came from the box. Lots of color, but how will this work? Time to let it marinate in my brain. I looked at it, moved things, and sat in on a webinar about seeing your world in simpler forms. Then I looked at it for a longer period of time.
